Description
Deep Cobalt blue, stacked with pigment and nothing else but French linseed oil.
In masstone this has serious depth and richness, just look at the swatch. The deep in the title (Foncee) meaning it leans more toward green than violet on the colour wheel.
A wonderful compliment to the warmer ultramarine blue on a landscape palette, perfect for getting that strange green edge the sky sometimes has at the beginning and at the end of the day.
When white is added it is a reasonably strong tinter providing a good range of sky blues.
Seriously good quality Cobalt Blue, perfect handling to avoid using medium if required or preferred.
