Description
A rich, high chroma, mid-value, green.
This is a blend of two pigments, Viridian and Cadmium Yellow, it is a very contemporary hue with yellow undertones. Cadmium takes the cold acidic sting out of the Viridian and tempers it towards being a mid-value, mid-temperature green.
Its tints cover a wide range of greens, the lightest in value being what I would describe as a mint green.
I suppose it is a tempered Viridian and for those who find the Viridian just too cool and acid will appreciate colour this greatly.
