Description
Cadmium Red Light, the more orange leaning of the Cadmium Reds. Favoured by portrait painters for it's ability to provide a multitude of vibrant pinks and it's ability to warm mid-tones.
In masstone a strong red-orange, the heavy pigment load makes it almost dense in handling.
Very powerful tinter enabling a large range of tints when white is added.
It is tough, opaque and luminous as with all Cadmium pigments. It produces some wonderful muted colours when mixed with complementaries.
The pigment load, the pigment itself, and the lack of additives will make a tube of this last a very long time.
Brings a bit of Australian sunshine into your studio.
