Description
A paint created from a mix of 14 parts Chrome yellow to 1 part yellow ochre based on an early 20th Century recipe. It is golden, deep and rich.
It maintains the earthiness of the ochre but with a lift provided by the chrome yellow.
Deep straw yellow in masstone, it provides gentle, earthy, yellows in tints when mixed with white.
Higher chroma and more luminous than a normal yellow ochre, this would work very well on a landscape palette.
