Description
This is a medium grade of the earth pigment, and is more a traditional umber hue than the lighter grade (Cyprus Raw Umber Light). It displays the classic reddish undertones and has substantial warmth.
Semi-transparent providing rich, dark, airy, Rembrandt glazes.
Warm grey tints.
Good tinting strength for a umber, due to the high grade of pigment and high pigment load with no fillers, just pigment and oil. Paints 'long', quite lean in body.
Very high quality.
