Description
A classic Lapis hue, straight out of a Renaissance painting.
In masstone, a deep blue, not quite as rich as the Tiziano shade, just off the middle of the blue spectrum leaning slightly green.
In tints with white, it stands up very well and provides a wide range of soft, muted, blues, the subtlety of which couldn't be achieved with any other pigment.
It seems slightly more transparent than the other varieties and also has the slight grittiness in feel like the others, the pigment size is deliberately left slightly larger in order to maximize the chroma.
