Description
A natural iron oxide, sourced from where a lot of the best earths come from, Italy.
Green umber is a pigment especially chosen for its deep green warm semi-transparent undertone. Creates cool chromatic greys when white is added.
Like most earths it has the ability to dry very quickly.
It is ideal not just for the landscape plein air painter but also for a portrait artist in creating shadows.
