Description
Cadmium yellow lemon, the lemon meaning it leans more towards green on the colour wheel than orange. Simply lots of pigment ground in French linseed and walnut oil.
Punchy, vibrant and opaque.
In masstone a coolish yellow, not as acidic in hue as Naples Yellow but definitely a cool yellow. The swatch appears slightly warmer than the real thing.
This has the beautiful handling of all Francois's paints, just right not too loose not too buttery. Strong tinter, when white is added it brings out more of the green edge.
