Description
A colour beloved by Rembrandt, all those stunning metallic highlights used this pigment.
The lightest yellow, very high in tonal value.
Slightly cool but not really leaning towards green to my eye, in the swatch opposite the paint appears greener than the reality.
Lovely thick handling and dense in nature.
Obviously being so high in value, the range of tints is limited but it still has the power to affect mixes and isn't lost like some.
A wonderful, historically accurate paint. Cracking.
