Description
Ok this colour truly is fluorescent, it glows even in low light.
A vivid reddish pink in hue. The swatch doesn't do justice to the level of glow!
It is single pigment (Quinacridone Magenta - but an extreme version) and also transparent so does present quite a lot of possibilities on the palette.
In masstone its glowing nature is somewhat more restrained, presenting straight out of the tube as a medium pinkish red. However as soon as it spread out with a palette knife the light bounces through the paint film off the white ground and it starts to glow.
A decent tinter, it holds its own against titanium white and there are wide range of neon pink hues available.
There is no way you could mix this highly vibrant colour out of other hues - really if you want a glowing pink this is the best choice.
