Description
Zingy, glowing, paint.
Cobalt teal is a colour which seems very popular at the moment, this single pigment version is unique as far as I know being blue leaning in hue. It is lighter in value than Michael's other version of cobalt teal which you can see here.
It is very vivid and luminous in masstone.
It has the sublime delicacy of a cobalt pigment (easy to control in mixes) and also cobalt's useful transparency, when used thinly on a white ground the transparency causes this paint to almost glow!
In tints with white...stunning turquoises.
Despite our best efforts to reproduce the hue accurately, it is somewhat darker in tonal value and slightly greener than the swatch opposite suggests.
