Description
A rich, glowing, red.
A modern pigment that really excels and could function as the primary red on your palette. Rapidly gaining traction as a replacement for the toxic and more expensive Cadmium red.
It is a transparent pigment which frequently gives the appearance of more depth than opaque pigments. Used transparently (by applying thinly or with a medium) and on a white ground the luminescence of the hue is pretty staggering, almost glowing.
In masstone a mid temperature red.
It is a very strong tinter providing a full on range of very vibrant pinks when white is added.
Shortish, buttery handling. High pigment load.
A genuine transparent alternative to Cadmium Red, cheaper and faster drying.
