Description
A more opaque version of transparent red oxide. Whereas that would be used in dark, warm transparent shadows this will find a place to gently warm various mixes, particularly flesh tones. Handmade with just pigment and oil and like all Langridge's paint it has a very high pigment load, making it more versatile and better value than most others out there.

"An essential for painters with an earth-toned palette. Red oxide is opaque and fast drying, with an uncommonly high pigment load. A real workhorse."
