Description
Cypriot umbers are generally considered the highest quality available, so when combined in very small batches with French linseed and walnut oil and no additives you get an extremely good paint. This paint is made with Cyprus Burnt Umber.
You can see on the swatch on the left the richness of the paint, the swatch looking like some mysterious, distant planet.
In masstone a deep, reddish brown - opaque in nature.
When tinted with white, it is surprisingly neutral with some warmth. Finely ground and smooth.
