This is an extremely fine particle size of a prepared iron oxide heavily loaded into the vehicle of linseed oil. It has a wonderful transparency which lends it perfectly to warming flesh tones.
In masstone it is a light tan brown, when used thinly it displays golden yellows of wonderful transparency, honey coloured and golden.
